Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island is hiring a Checkout Team Member at Trents in Canterbury. You will assist customers with outstanding service and efficiently process transactions to create a positive shopping experience.

We value hands-on experience in checkout, retail or customer service, comfort in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lift up to 20 kg. Training, internal promotion, and medical insurance after a qualifying period are offered.

Qualifications

• Checkouts / Retail / Customer Service experience is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 20KG repetitively.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Confident using technology and software systems - TRINCA & SAP.

About the role: Checkout Team Member

As a Checkout Team Member, you will be assisting our Customers with excellent customer service and efficient processing of transactions creating a positive customer experience.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 = 40hrs/week

About you:

• Checkouts / Retail / Customer Service experience is desirable
• Comfortable working in a face paced environment
• Fit and able to lift up to 20KG repetitively
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Confident using technology and software systems - TRINCA & SAP
