Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is hiring a Checkout Team Member to assist customers and process transactions efficiently, delivering a positive shopping experience. Shift pattern is Mon–Fri 08:30–17:00, totaling 40 hours per week.

The role suits those with checkout/retail or customer service background, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and capable of lifting up to 20 kg. Proficiency with TRINCA and SAP is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in Checkouts / Retail / Customer Service is desirable.
• Able to lift up to 20kg repetitively.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Confident using technology and software systems – TRINCA & SAP.

About the role: Checkout Team Member

As a Checkout Team Member, you will be assisting our Customers with excellent customer service and efficient processing of transactions creating a positive customer experience.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 = 40hrs/week

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Checkouts / Retail / Customer Service experience is desirable
• Comfortable working in a face paced environment
• Fit and able to lift up to 20KG repetitively
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Confident using technology and software systems – TRINCA & SAP
