Job summary

Scentre Group is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join the Facilities Management team at Westfield Riccarton in Christchurch. You will support the Asset Team with integrated management and maintenance across the centre, delivering best-in-class services to retailers and enhancing the customer experience.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help manage maintenance, sustainability initiatives, and capital works, while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, property, hospitality, facilities or building management.
• Strong customer service focus and administration skills.
• Proven capabilities in supervising contractors and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Technology-literate and able to use building management systems and software.
• Ability to deliver across 7 days a week in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the asset team in delivering hard and soft services to ensure excellent customer/retailer experience.
• Assist with asset initiatives for sustainability targets and report on progress.
• Ensure all asset maintenance, repairs and capital works are on time, within budget and to high standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business and beyond.
• Build relationships with service providers to ensure timely, compliant delivery of outputs.
• Respond to and resolve facilities’ service issues, collaborating on cross-team projects.
• Act as Duty Manager on occasion, providing leadership during emergencies and maintaining safety.
