Playcentre Aotearoa in Wellington is seeking a part-time Centre Coordinator for 12.5 hours per week during term time. You will work with centre whānau and staff to deliver high-quality, whānau-led sessions that align with Playcentre Philosophy and Te Whāriki.
You will build adult capability, provide guidance on curriculum, health and safety, and model best practices to empower tamariki learning. This role requires strong relationship skills and a commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
