Port Ohope Playcentre is seeking a Centre Coordinator to support adult capability and curriculum delivery during term time.
You will work with whānau, provide guidance on Te Whāriki and safety, and ensure sessions meet regulatory requirements. The role is 7.5 hours per week, Tue and Thu mornings, starting 12 October 2026, with a permanent term-time appointment.

Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
