Job summary

InterGroup is looking for a CCTV Operator to inspect underground water infrastructure in Tauranga. You will operate advanced CCTV equipment to assess and diagnose assets, supporting maintenance for councils and private clients.

Be the eyes below ground, applying hands-on skills, planning for contracts, and ensuring safety. InterGroup has a long-standing presence in NZ infrastructure with a focus on safe, reliable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with confidence reversing vehicles in tight spots.
• Experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment (e.g., push rod cameras, crawlers).
• Solid understanding of day-to-day planning to meet contract requirements.
• Working knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and procedures in underground video inspections.
• Experience with safety management systems, Hazard Analysis and risk assessment.
• Ability to assign work, train others and uphold high work standards.
• Flexibility to work after hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV pipeline inspection equipment to assess, diagnose and support maintenance of water infrastructure assets.
• Be the eyes below ground to help prevent issues before they become problems.
• Work with councils and private clients to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to hazard analyses and risk assessments.
