Job summary

Citycare Water is seeking an experienced CCTV Operator to join their team in Timaru. This role involves conducting video surveys and investigations of wastewater and stormwater drainage networks both reactively and on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience with surveying tools, high-pressure jetting trucks, and must hold necessary licenses. Additional benefits include discounted health insurance, training opportunities, and a mentorship program.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and knowledge in plant and equipment for waste and stormwater activities.
• Ability to operate high-pressure jetting trucks.
• Understanding of the NZ Pipe Inspection Manual.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video surveys and investigations of drainage networks.
• Prepare and revise plans/maps for drainage inspections.
• Assist with clearing blockages in waste and stormwater.

Skills

Experience in wastewater and stormwater activities

Driving a high-pressure jetting truck

Use of surveying tools and software

Physical fitness

Teamwork and independent work

Education

Traffic controller Level 1 licence

Full class 1 and 2 licence
