Job summary

InterGroup is hiring in Hamilton to train as a CCTV Operator. No prior CCTV experience required; we’ll teach the technical side of the job. This hands-on, on-site role suits someone reliable and prepared to work outdoors around roads and construction sites.

You’ll work with experienced operators, set up equipment, support pipeline inspections, and learn to record inspection data while following safety standards. A great entry point into infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• NZ driver's licence currently held.
• Reliable, practical, and ready to perform manual tasks.

• Comfortable working in dirty, wet, or confined spaces when required.

We’re looking for a reliable person to join our Hamilton team and train as a CCTV Operator.

You’ll work alongside experienced operators inspecting underground pipelines using specialist CCTV equipment. No previous CCTV experience is required – we’ll teach you the technical side of the job.

The role is hands‑on and physical, with plenty of time on site. You’ll help set up equipment, prepare work areas, assist with pipeline inspections and complete general labouring tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS AN ADVANTAGE:

• STMS or traffic management
• Drainage, civil or infrastructure work
• CCTV, pipeline inspection or surveying
• Operating vehicles, plant or specialist equipment
• Construction or general labouring
