Job summary

Citycare Water is seeking an experienced Operator for Timaru to operate and maintain heavy plant, including Hydrovac, jetting trucks and excavators. The role involves site reinstatement with asphalt and topsoil, plus general labour activities, contributing to safe and efficient project delivery.

You will be physically fit, hold relevant licenses, and work well in a team or independently, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Hydrovac and High-Pressure Jetting Truck.
• Desirable experience on asphalt and topsoil reinstatement.
• Maintenance knowledge of plant and mechanical operations.
• Full Class 1 and 2 licenses, WTR endorsements, and manual driving ability.
• Physically fit and safety-focused, able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy plant and machinery such as Hydrovac, jetting truck, excavators, loaders, rollers and heavy vehicles.
• Reinstate sites with asphalt and topsoil.
• General labouring including cleaning, clearing and lifting.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality workmanship.
