HEB Construction is seeking a CBD Cleaning & Cyclic Maintenance Operative to support Marlborough’s town centres across Blenheim, Redwoodtown and Picton as part of the Wairau Gateway Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC). You will help keep Marlborough’s streets clean, safe and welcoming for residents, businesses and visitors.

The role involves outdoor work, operating cleaning equipment, and coordinating with a team to meet high standards of presentation and safety.

Formación

• Experience in cleaning, maintenance, landscaping or civil construction.
• Experience operating plant or equipment.
• A current driver's license.
• Traffic management or WTR qualifications (advantageous).

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning and maintaining public spaces, footpaths, town centres and facilities.
• Litter collection, graffiti removal and presentation work.
• Operating cleaning equipment and machinery (where trained and authorised).
• Inspecting and maintaining carparks, public areas and street furniture.
• Supporting seasonal cleans, public events and cruise ship visits.
• Providing friendly and professional interactions with the public.
• Identifying and reporting hazards, defects and maintenance issues.

CBD Cleaning & Cyclic Maintenance Operative

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking CBD Cleaning & Cyclic Maintenance Operative to join our team supporting the Wairau Gateway Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC) across Blenheim, Redwoodtown and Picton.

This role plays an important part in keeping Marlborough's town centres clean, safe and welcoming for residents, businesses and visitors.

What you'll be doing

Working as part of our CBD and cyclic maintenance crew, you'll be involved in:

• Cleaning and maintaining public spaces, footpaths, town centres and community facilities
• Litter collection, graffiti removal and general presentation work
• Operating cleaning equipment and machinery (where trained and authorised)
• Inspecting and maintaining assigned carparks, public areas and street furniture
• Supporting seasonal cleans, public events and cruise ship visits
• Providing friendly and professional interactions with members of the public
• Identifying and reporting hazards, defects and maintenance issues

Ideally you'll also have:

• Experience in cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, civil construction or a similar field
• Experience operating plant or equipment
• A current driver's licence
• Traffic management, WTR or other relevant industry qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
