Job summary

Cater Plus in Putāruru is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team at Rangiura Rest Home, serving meals for around 70 residents daily. The role involves assisting chefs, setting up service areas, and maintaining hygiene in a busy kitchen.

We offer full training, a friendly team, and opportunities to contribute to residents’ daily meals. Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand is required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential; full training will be provided.

About the Role

• Wash dishes and assist with kitchen clean-down.
• Provide service in the onsite café when required.

• Help close and clean the kitchen at the end of the day.
