Job summary

Conter Hautapu cafe role with Cater Plus requires enthusiasm and reliability. Working Saturdays and Sundays with occasional weekdays, you will assist in food prep, serve customers, and prepare beverages in a busy café environment.

Join a supportive team at Fonterra Hautapu in the Waikato, contributing to high standards of service and food safety. Prior hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, and basic computer skills are sufficient for POS operations.

14 hours per week | Saturdays & Sundays (with occasional weekday shifts as required)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our café team at Fonterra Hautapu in the Waikato.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive team. The role is primarily based on weekends, with additional weekday shifts available when cover is required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with food preparation and presentation


• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner


• Preparing hot and cold beverages, including coffees


• Operating Eftpos and POS systems


• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene


• Keeping the café and kitchen areas clean, tidy, and well-presented


• Supporting the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the café
