Otago Regional Council seeks a Catchment Advisor for our Environmental Implementation team on a fixed-term basis (parental leave cover). The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) in our busy coastal office to advance on-ground initiatives for better coastal catchment outcomes.
You will engage with landowners and communities, support biodiversity projects, and promote best practice in farming and land management to deliver measurable environmental improvements.

We are looking for a Catchment Advisor to join our Environmental Implementation team on a fixed term (parental leave cover - 12 months), full time (37.5 hours per week) basis, in our busy coastal office.
The purpose of this position is to implement a programme of non-regulatory ‘on the ground’ initiatives and approaches to support engagement, solutions, and progress to achieving better environmental (urban and rural) catchment outcomes. This role will be focused on the Coastal area of Otago.
