Job summary

Geneva Healthcare in Auckland is seeking Casual Support Workers to join during the busy Christmas and New Year period across West Auckland. You will provide practical, person-centred support to clients in their homes and communities, with duties including personal care, meal prep, medication support, and social participation.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to support others.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in healthcare, disability support, or caregiving preferred but not essential.
• Hold a Full New Zealand Driver License and have reliable transport.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and person-centered support to clients in homes and communities.
• Help with community participation, social activities, and accompaniment to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and daily tasks as required.
• Provide medication support and ensure safety during transfers and mobility.
• Support clients with meals, household tasks, and independent living.

About the Role

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide practical and person-centered support to clients in their homes and communities. Duties may include:

• Manual handling and transfers where required

You will be:
