Job summary

Geneva Healthcare Ltd is seeking Casual Support Workers to assist clients in homes and communities across West Auckland during the busy Christmas and New Year period. You will help with daily living tasks, social activities, and transportation support.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, disability support or caregiving is preferred but not essential.
• Full New Zealand Driver License and reliable transport required.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, person-centered support to clients in their homes and communities.
• Assist with community participation, social activities and personal care when needed.
• Provide medication support, meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings; assist with transfers as required.

About the Role

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide practical and person-centered support to clients in their homes and communities. Duties may include:

• Supporting clients with community participation and social activities
• Assisting with personal care where required

• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
• Manual handling and transfers where required

What We're Looking For

You will be:

• Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to support others
• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A strong communicator with a positive attitude
• Experienced in healthcare, disability support, or caregiving (preferred but not essential)
• Hold a Full New Zealand Driver License and have reliable transport
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
