Job summary

Geneva Healthcare is seeking Casual Support Workers to assist clients in homes and communities during the Christmas and New Year period across Kaikohe. You will provide practical, person-centred support, including personal care, meal prep, house tasks, and transportation assistance.

About the Role

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide practical and person-centered support to clients in their homes and communities. Duties may include:

• Supporting clients with community participation and social activities
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Medication support
• Meal preparation and household tasks
• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
• Manual handling and transfers where required

What We're Looking For

You will be:

• Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to support others
• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A strong communicator with a positive attitude
• Experienced in healthcare, disability support, or caregiving (preferred but not essential)
• Hold a Full New Zealand Driver License and have reliable transport
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
