About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Casual Kitchen Assistant to provide cover when our regular staff are away.You'll work as part of our hospital food service team, helping to prepare and serve meals for patients. Duties include simple food preparation, plating meals, using the industrial dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

Shifts are available across 7 days a week, depending on staff leave and service needs:

• 7:00am - 4:00pm
• 10:30am - 7:00pm
• 4:00pm - 7:00pm

This is a casual relief position, so hours will vary and shifts are not guaranteed. There will be times when shifts need to be covered at short notice, so flexibility and availability are important.

No previous hospital or kitchen experience is required. Full training will be provided for up to three weeks to help you learn the role and become confident in our kitchen and food service environment.
