Job summary

Healthcarenz Limited in Auckland is seeking casual Support Workers to assist people in our residential services. You will help individuals with daily activities, meals, personal care and life-skills development, within a supportive team that values empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenging behaviours.
• Full driver's license is essential.
• Ability to push people toward their goals with energy and initiative.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends.
• Respect for others and their chosen ways of living life.

Responsibilities

• Support people with various aspects of daily life and help them do the things they want to do.
• Assist with meals and personal cares and with household management tasks.
• Teach life skills and support participation in community activities.
• Provide care within Auckland Residential Services and shift rosters, including sleepovers where applicable.
• Foster empathy, respect, and cultural awareness in interactions with people from diverse backgrounds.
