Responsibilities

• Start up and run Tufting Machines.
• Follow bills of materials, operator instructions and setup sheets.
• Perform quality checks and complete production documentation.
• Full creel changes and pattern changes.
• Manage balance of creel to optimize yarn use.
• Assist with machine changeovers and maintenance.
• Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Record daily production.
• Continuously monitor tufted material for quality issues.
• Report health and safety issues and machine breakdowns.

The Role

We are looking for experienced carpet tufting machine operators to join our busy manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for operating and monitoring a Tufting machine, maintaining product quality and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

• Starting up and running Tufting Machines
• Following bills of materials, operator instruction and set up sheets
• Perform quality checks and complete production documentation
• Full Creel changes and pattern changes
• Manage balance of creel to make best use of yarn
• Assist with machine change overs and maintenance.
• Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards
• Recording daily production
• Continuously monitoring tufted material for quality issues
• Report all health and safety issues and machine breakdowns

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday 40 hrs. per week
• Periodic late shift 1pm to midnight
• Friday and occasional Saturday overtime available
