Job summary

LWC Building Construction in Auckland is hiring four carpenters for residential or commercial carpentry work. You will be based here in Auckland and employed on a full-time permanent basis. Wages between 32 and 35 NZD per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required, with ability to read plants and drawings, use hand and power tools, and work either unsupervised or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience or similar experience in trade/construction.
• Able to read and interpret plants/drawings.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening.
• Site Safe certification.
• Calm, professional temperament under pressure.
• Capable of reading drawings and following site management instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver residential or commercial carpentry services.
• Construct wall and roof framing, floor joists, foundations and bearers.
• Read and interpret plants and drawings to guide work.
• Work unsupervised or as part of a team.
• Follow site management instructions and safety procedures.

LWC Building Construction - Auckland, North Island

LWC Building Construction is looking for 4 carpenters who will be responsible for the delivery of either residential or commercial carpentry services.

You will be based in Auckland.

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $32-$35 per hour and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or similar experience associated with a trade or construction role:

• Able to read and interpret plants
• Can work unsupervised or part of a team
• Can use a variety of hands tools and power tools
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
• With Site safe
• Calm, professional temperament with the ability to cope in a pressured environment
• Read and interpret drawings
• Perform all aspect of construction
• Follow specific instructions from site management
• Construct wall and roof framing, floor joist, foundations and bearers
