Overview

Carpenter or experienced apprentice wanted – Auckland

We are a small company with a few small to medium jobs currently where we need another staff member to assist. If you are self employed with all your own tools that would be an easy start but we would consider wages for the right person. You would need to be self sufficient with trade transport, tools and be able to work unsupervised. Also be good with problem solving and clients. At present only three in our team as we have navigated patchy work over the last few months but now have a number of jobs available. You would work with a small team and sometimes alone. We are based in Howick, East Auckland and most but not all our work is around that location. We have just created a website under Linear Homes if you wanted to have a look.

Responsibilities

• Assist on small to medium carpentry jobs as part of a small team or occasionally work independently.
• Work with clients and help solve on-site issues.
• Be self-sufficient and able to manage tasks with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs within scope and timelines.

Qualifications

• Carpenter or experienced apprentice preferred.
• Own tools and transport or willingness to use company resources.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-sufficient.

Location

Based in Howick, East Auckland; most work is in or around that location.
