Tradestaff Marlborough, New Zealand, is seeking experienced Carpenter/Joiners to work across residential, commercial and civil projects. You’ll read plans, fabricate and install joinery, and contribute to framing, cladding and finish work.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience or NZQA Level 4, own tools, reliable transport and two references. Health & Safety commitment and passing a pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience or NZQA Level 4 qualification (or recognised equivalent).
• Your own hand and power tools.
• Reliable transport.
• Two solid work references.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsabilités

• Residential, commercial & civil carpentry work.
• 1st, 2nd & final fix carpentry and joinery tasks.
• Reading and working from plans, specifications & drawings.
• Fabricating, installing and repairing joinery components such as doors, windows and cabinetry.
• Framing, subflooring, cladding & roof work.
• Precision fitting and finishing of timber and composite materials.
• Shuttering joinery & steel tying.

Carpenter/Joiners Wanted – Marlborough, New Zealand

We’re looking for experienced Carpenter/Joiners who are confident in both carpentry and joinery duties.

If you thrive on variety and enjoy working on everything from residential builds to commercial fit-outs and precision joinery, we want to hear from you!

Marlborough will be the predominant region of work for this role, however you may also be required to work in Canterbury, Otago, Southland, West Coast and Nelson regions. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.

• You’ll need to be confident and experienced with:
• Residential, commercial & civil carpentry

• Fabricating, installing, and repairing joinery components such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and bespoke timber features
• Framing, subflooring, cladding & roof work
• Precision fitting and finishing of timber and composite materials
• Shuttering joinery & steel tying
• Operating power tools and machinery relevant to both carpentry and joinery

What we’re looking for:

• A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or
• A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (or an overseas qualification recognised by NZQA as comparable).
• Your own hand and power tools
• Reliable transport
• Two solid work references
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
