Job summary

IRIS Corporation – Wellington, North Island, is seeking a hands-on construction worker with a Level 4 qualification or at least two years of construction-related experience. You will study drawings, select materials, and prepare layouts to support timber framing and panelised systems.

Responsibilities include cutting and assembling timber, erecting framing, roofing, sub-flooring and cladding, and completing fittings for doors and windows. Training and safety compliance are essential on site.

• Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
• Cutting wood joints.
• May repair existing fittings.
• May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals.
• Any other duties assigned by the employer.
