Job summary

Located in Meeanee, Napier, Bupa Willowbank Care Home welcomes a dedicated Caregiver to join a modern, caring team. You will support mobility, document care, and encourage residents to engage in social activities, contributing to a dignified and connected living environment.

• Employment Type: FixedTerm till 08 May 2027
• Hours: 31.5hours/week and 189 hours
• Shift Time: Mix of 7am - 3pm/ 3pm to 9:30pm

The purpose of this job

Located in Meeanee, Napier, Bupa Willowbank Care Home is a modern, spacious care home featuring landscaped gardens and includes Rest Home, Hospital, and Dementia Care.

As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates

What you’ll needto make it possible

• Hold a Level 0-2 Caregiving qualification
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
