Job summary

Halswell New World’s Café in Christchurch is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead cafe operations, deliver outstanding customer experiences and keep the coffee flowing during busy periods. The successful applicant will plan, organise, lead and control cafe operations to ensure smooth service and quality.

This full-time role requires weekend shifts and a real passion for people and food, with an emphasis on teamwork, presenting well, and inspiring service and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a cafe or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Pump out quality coffee during busy periods.
• Chat with regulars to provide an exceptional experience.

The most important job assignment is delivering a great Customer Experience. Our team creates a fun, warm and friendly shopping experience by sharing product knowledge, answering customer’s questions and offering suggestions.

The successful applicant is a person who can plan, organise, lead and control the operations of the Cafe.

This a full-time role that will require weekend shifts:

Sunday 7.00am-4.00pm

Monday 7.00am-4.00pm

Tuesday 7.00am-4.00pm

Thursday 7.00am-4.00pm
