The Journey in Greenlane, Auckland, invites a cafe manager to lead daily operations, ensuring smooth service, quality coffee, and customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating front-of-house and kitchen staff and maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

You will work in a busy setting with regular catering and event bookings for the church community, and opportunities for profit-share or lease arrangements after a startup phase.

Our cafe is located at the entrance to a vibrant church in the heart of Greenlane. Within a short walking distance of McDonalds, Woolworths and Carey Baptist College, plus other offices and businesses, we have a captive market from Monday to Saturday. We also have regular ongoing orders for catering, as well as occasional events in the church auditorium.

Minimal capital startup is required, with the possibility of a profit-share model or an annual lease. A commercial kitchen is provided and after 9 months of operation since launching, we already have a successful business model and ongoing customers with a consistent 5-star rating.
