Cater Plus in Palmerston North is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant for Coffee Infusion café. This permanent role offers 30-35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early morning shifts and afternoons free.

You will work with the Chef to prepare and serve café-style food and coffee, deliver friendly service, handle POS/EFTPOS, and help maintain a clean, safe café environment. Barista experience is a bonus but not essential.

Catering Assistant – Coffee Infusion, Palmerston North

Permanent 30-35 hours per week| Monday to Friday. Cater Plus is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Coffee Infusion café team. This is a permanent role with consistent early morning hours, ideal for someone who enjoys having their afternoons free.

To be successful in this role you will be warm and engaging with a can‑do attitude and friendly nature. You will work alongside our Chef to support preparing and serving outstanding café style food and coffee for our customers and keep them coming back for more.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving café style food and beverages
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Operating EFTPOS and POS systems accurately
• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Maintaining cleanliness of the café, kitchen, and service areas

• Following all food safety and hygiene standards
