Job summary
NZ Defence Force in Auckland seeks a highly experienced Special Operations Systems Integration Engineer to lead the design, integration, and testing of networked C4 capabilities across soldier platforms and vehicles. The role combines engineering, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational effectiveness for NZDF Special Operations.
With a minimum of 10 years in engineering and platform integration, you will coordinate internal teams
Qualifications
- Significant experience in communications, networking, systems engineering, and platform integration.
- Experience with RF systems, coverage planning, interference analysis, optimization, and performance improvement.
- Experience leading Agile projects, Scrum teams, and working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, integration, and testing of networked capability solutions.
- Development and enhancement of C4 systems across operational platforms.
- Requirements gathering and project management for new capability initiatives.
- Preparation and maintenance of technical and programme documentation.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and oversight of external contractors.
