Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island – Rangiora is seeking a trade-qualified Butcher to lead the busy Butchery Department in a fast-paced retail setting. You will direct day-to-day operations, cut and prepare meat, and drive a high standard of customer service while managing costs and compliance.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified butcher with 3+ years management experience.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, processing and quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of inventory systems and gross profit drivers.
