Foodstuffs North Island’s New World Waihi is seeking a reliable Butchery Assistant to join our team. You'll learn and grow in a busy department, with full training provided and a focus on quality, safety, and customer service.

Primary duties include preparing meat displays, weighing and labeling, assisting customers, and maintaining cleanliness. The role is permanent full-time with Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday workdays, and benefits for the right person.

Qualifications

• Wrapping, weighing, and labelling products.
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in the work area.
• Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting the butchers with basic preparation tasks.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring the shop is well presented.
