Compound Wealth is seeking an experienced, hands-on Business Manager to work closely with the Owner/Senior Advisor and Associate Advisor.
Founded in 2017 and based in Mount Maunganui, Compound Wealth provides investment and retirement advice to retirees and people approaching retirement. The firm advises on more than $170 million of funds under advice and operates as a Partner Firm of Consilium.
Combining office, operations and business management, this is an opportunity to make a visible contribution to the firm’s next stage of growth.
You will have variety, responsibility and the opportunity to put your ideas into practice, working directly with the owner in a small team.
Your contribution will give the advisors more time to focus on clients and growth. Both advisors already use AI tools and welcome practical uses of technology to improve everyday work.
You’ll take ownership of the operational backbone of Compound Wealth, keeping the office, systems and day-to-day business running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Office management and advisor support: Coordinate appointments, client communications and the Owner/Senior Advisor’s calendar.
Client onboarding and reviews: Build and run consistent onboarding and review processes, prepare review packs and coordinate follow-up.
Systems and records: Manage the CRM, filing systems and business software, keeping information current and accessible.
Financial administration: Run payroll, prepare budgets and forecasts, and maintain the business cash flow forecast.
Business improvement: Document processes and implement improvements that save time and strengthen service.
People and marketing support: Assist with recruitment and staff onboarding, and support the website, organic marketing and client events until dedicated marketing support is appointed.
You will be a capable all-rounder with a professional attitude and a proven track record of bringing structure, attention to detail and accuracy to your work. You can manage multiple tasks and initiatives, set clear priorities and follow through to completion.
You enjoy both organising and doing the work, balancing routine responsibilities with improvements to the wider business.
Ideally, you have a background in wealth advisory or financial services, with experience in a small, growing company and exposure to the corporate world. You bring the flexibility a small team needs alongside useful systems and disciplines from a larger organisation.
You will also bring:
Experience across office management, operations and business administration.
Confidence with Xero, payroll, budgets and cash flow forecasting.
Experience managing or improving a CRM and business processes.
Clear communication and a warm, professional approach to clients.
