Auckland Conventions Venues & Events is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our permanent, full-time Sales team in Auckland. You will manage inbound and outbound sales, develop new client relationships, and support event opportunities from inquiry to contract.
Proactive, customer-focused and detail-oriented, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with Event/venues workflows, preferred. Role supports Auckland Live events and requires occasional evening/weekend work.

Our Auckland Conventions Venues & Events Sales team are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Executive for a permanent full-time opportunity!
Our ideal applicant possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high attention to detail with at least 1- 2 years of experience working in a sales or similar role, preferably in the MICE/Events/Hotel/Tourism Industry (preferred but not essential).
Being able to work efficiently is important in this role, so our ideal applicant will come equipped with proficiency in using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and feel comfortable utilising technology as needed to help you deliver in this role. Experience with Momentus technology would be preferred but not essential.
Some evening and weekend work may be required for this role
