Job summary

New Zealand Couriers in Hamilton is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Consultant to join the Central North Island sales team. The role is a true field position focusing on meeting prospective customers, understanding needs, and delivering tailored courier solutions.

You will develop opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and negotiate capably to drive profitable growth while coordinating with Customer Services and Operations for a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, field sales, or account management.
• Proven ability to win new customers and achieve sales targets.

• High levels of self-motivation, resilience, and accountability.

• A current full New Zealand Driver Licence.

The role

We're looking for a driven and commercially savvy Business Development Consultant to join our Central North Island sales team. This is a true field sales role where you'll spend your time out meeting prospective customers and building relationships. You'll identify new business opportunities, understand customers' needs, and provide tailored courier solutions that add real value.
