Wellington City Council is seeking a forward-thinking Business Analyst to support the Te Huringa Project, our HRIS and Payroll system replacement. This fixed term/secondment opportunity aims to deliver an efficient, accurate system and provide analytics to drive organisational growth.
You will design workshops, map data from the current to the new system, and support testing (SIT/UAT) while collaborating with internal teams and the vendor. Location includes Wellington CBD and surrounding areas.

This is a fixed term position to end of September 2027. We are also open to kaimahi in central government applying for this opportunity as a secondment from your current agency.
Āu ake mahi | What you'll doAs the Business Analyst of the Te Huringa Project, you will play an essential role in the delivery by supporting the Project Manager to deliver a system that is efficient, accurate, and fit for purpose.
You will be an integral part of the project, helping to ensure that the key requirements are captured for delivery as part of the smooth transition to the new HRIS & Payroll system and delivering insights and analytics that supports both our people and our organisation's growth.
