Job summary

SkyCity in Auckland is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to deliver end-to-end analysis across a diverse IT portfolio. You’ll partner with leaders, developers, and product owners to ensure solutions deliver real business value, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure outcomes.

You'll navigate complex environments, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to both Agile and traditional projects within a vibrant, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in business analysis, IT applications, or system delivery environments.
• Experience using data to identify trends, support business cases, inform decision-making, and measure the success of initiatives.
• Proven success delivering technology solutions and business change initiatives.
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Experience in both Agile and traditional project methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, process modelling, and documentation capabilities.
• The ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Solutioning, you'll be responsible for providing end-to-end business analysis across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives. You'll partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, developers, architects, testers, vendors, and product owners to ensure solutions deliver real business value.

As a Business Analyst, you'll combine strong analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making. You'll leverage data, insights, and business intelligence to identify opportunities, validate recommendations, measure outcomes, and support stakeholders in making informed decisions that deliver tangible business value.

We're looking for someone who can confidently navigate complex environments and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.

You'll ideally have:

• At least 5 years' experience in business analysis, IT applications, or system delivery environments.
