Job summary

Quasar Systems Limited in Christchurch leads energy management and smart building solutions. We are seeking an experienced Building Performance Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will deliver BMS projects across New Zealand, design and commission BMS, and work with EcoStruxure Building Operation to optimise building performance and energy usage.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building services.
• Experience commissioning control systems.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with Schneider Electric EBO is highly regarded.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Building Management System experience who wants to broaden their skills into energy management, analytics and building performance optimisation.

What you'll be doing

Delivering BMS and building performance projects across New Zealand.

Designing, configuring and commissioning Building Management Systems.

Working with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) platforms.

Integrating HVAC, electrical and metering systems.

Supporting customers with troubleshooting and optimisation.

Analysing operational data to improve building efficiency and performance.

Delivering customer training and technical support.

What we're looking for

Experience working with Building Management Systems.

Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building services.

Experience commissioning control systems.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
