Job summary

EQUIP People are seeking experienced Builders and Hammerhands to join our growing construction team across Wellington and Kapiti. You will work on a range of residential and commercial projects, assisting with general building duties and supporting trades teams to deliver quality work.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years' building experience, a solid understanding of building practices, reliable transport, and a positive, safety‑minded attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' building experience.
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of general building practices.
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.

EQUIP People are looking for experienced Builders and Hammerhands to join our growing construction team across the Wellington and Kapiti regions. We have a variety of residential and commercial projects available, offering flexible work options and the opportunity to work with reputable construction companies.

About the Roles

You'll be working across a range of construction sites, assisting with general building duties, site tasks and supporting experienced trades teams to deliver quality work.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' building experience
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong understanding of general building practices
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• $28.00 - $34.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
