Job summary

Mercury NZ is seeking a Brand Designer to join our award-winning Brand & Marketing team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis, covering parental leave. You will interpret briefs, craft design concepts, and produce both templated and bespoke material across internal documents, signage, video, infographics and merchandise.

You’ll contribute to performance marketing, image editing, and manage external designers while upholding Mercury's brand identity across advertising, web and social

Responsibilities

• Interpreting briefs and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts that support strategy and business needs
• Producing templated and bespoke work across internal documents, signage, video, infographics and merchandise
• Creating performance marketing media in-house, including paid search, social media and native content across LinkedIn, our website, blog and social
• Supporting brand asset development, including image editing, and helping brief and manage external designers, agencies and printers
• Applying Mercury's brand and visual identity, contributing ideas to help our design systems grow, and building your knowledge of best practice across advertising, web and social
• Collaborating with teams across Mercury, including Sustainability, HR, Internal Comms, Investor Relations, Customer Experience and Community Engagement
