Job summary

First Focus is seeking a Brand Designer in New Zealand to craft clear, engaging visual communication across campaigns, proposals, reports and digital content. You’ll shape brand and marketing design, ensuring consistency and a strong on-brand voice, while using AI intelligently to explore concepts and deliver editable assets.

You’ll collaborate with the Marketing team and stakeholders, build templates in PowerPoint and Word, and help elevate our B2B design language across a growing business.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, typography, layout and visual communication.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud to produce polished, editable production assets.
• Exceptional PowerPoint and Word design skills are essential.
• Experience designing for a B2B audience with a professional but engaging look.
• Ability to simplify complex content and communicate it visually.
• Comfort collaborating from briefs and brand direction.
• Experience with generative AI as part of a modern creative workflow.
• Ideally 3+ years in B2B graphic design, in-house brand experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create campaign and digital assets that elevate B2B marketing beyond the typical look.
• Design sales presentations and proposals that are easy to follow.
• Produce reports, ebooks, guides and other long-form content.
• Design social media and website graphics and event collateral.
• Develop polished internal communications and brand materials.
• Build and refine templates in PowerPoint and Word.
• Explain complex information visually, not just by shrinking text.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Services, and leadership to convey messages clearly.
• Maintain consistent, recognisable First Focus branding across the business.
