Lyttelton Engineering designs, manufactures, installs and services a broad range of industrial plant, including steam and hot water boilers, pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers and associated equipment. Their boiler capability covers a range of fuels and applications, with installations throughout New Zealand.
Based from their Lyttelton operation, this is a hands‑on technical role providing specialist support across commissioning, servicing, fault-finding, combustion tuning and upgrades.

This is a genuine field‑service role. Regular travel throughout New Zealand, including overnight stays, is an important part of the position, and you’ll also participate in the on‑call roster, responding to breakdowns and urgent customer requirements when needed.
We’re interested in experienced technicians from an industrial boiler, burner, combustion, gas or related service and commissioning background.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
A gas‑fitting registration or relevant industrial gas experience would be particularly useful. However, you don’t necessarily need to cover every aspect of the role from day one. Training and further development can be provided to the right person.
