Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Security Engineer to join our client’s team in Queenstown. The role focuses on protecting the integrity of blockchain infrastructure and applications, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures across crypto ecosystems.

You will conduct security assessments, develop tools for threat detection, respond to incidents, and collaborate with development teams to embed security across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Security Engineer or in a related cybersecurity role.
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain security principles, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with security auditing tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Python, or Go for security analysis.
• Familiarity with common blockchain vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges in Queenstown.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security protocols for blockchain networks and applications.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis of smart contracts and dApps.
