Job summary

Crimson Global Academy is seeking a Teacher in Charge of Biology to lead biology teaching across our international online high school. You will teach, mentor and shape Biology curriculum, assessment, and teacher development within CGA's virtual campuses.

Based in a similar time zone to New Zealand and Australia, you will collaborate with colleagues across CGA's global network, champion digital pedagogy, and support AI-enabled learning while maintaining high academic standards and engaging

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified teacher with strong Biology expertise.
• Experience teaching secondary Biology.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and A-Level programmes; Edexcel/Cambridge is a plus.
• Proficient with online teaching platforms and digital pedagogy.
• Interest in AI-enabled learning and innovative approaches to education.
• Collaborative and able to mentor other teachers.
• Organised, data-aware and committed to high academic standards.
• Excellent communicator with students, parents and colleagues.
• Willing to contribute to extracurricular biology activities and CGA community.

Responsibilities

• Teach Biology classes and support students in your area of expertise.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with IGCSE and A-Level specifications.
• Maintain high-quality course content, lesson plans and resources in the LMS.
• Support academic leadership with quality assurance, learning walks and standardisation.
• Mentor and onboard Biology teachers.
• Contribute to curriculum review, assessment planning and exam preparation.
• Support post-exam analysis, interventions and student progress monitoring.
• Champion digital pedagogy and AI-supported learning.
• Collaborate with CGA's international virtual campuses.
• Encourage student enrichment through biology-related activities, competitions and clubs.
• Contribute positively to CGA's wider academic and extracurricular life.
