Job summary

Department of Conservation - Te Papa Atawhai seeks an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Biodiversity Monitoring) to translate complex biodiversity data into practical solutions. You will explore data flows end-to-end, collaborate across DOC teams, and refine workflows for the SMTS replacement with a focus on data quality and usable reporting.

You will work across science, operations, and IT, shaping business requirements, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications

Experience analysing end-to-end processes, information flows and data needs.

Responsibilities

Refine workflows, detailed requirements and business rules for SMTS replacement.
Translate complex business, data and reporting needs into clear requirements.
Collaborate across DOC's monitoring and insights teams with scientists, rangers and developers.
Support solution design, testing and implementation with cross-functional teams.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and data movement.
