Job summary

Waste Management Christchurch is seeking a Bin Auditor to join our team at the local branch. The role focuses on inspecting recycling bins for contamination and removing recurring contaminated bins to maintain city cleanliness. You will also unload returning waste collection vehicles and ensure correct sorting of products.

Additionally, you will assist in vehicle cleaning and general maintenance, and perform daily safety checks to keep operations running smoothly at our Christchurch depot.

Responsibilities

• Audit recycle bins for contamination.
• Remove bins that have been contaminated multiple times around the city.
• Unload waste collection vehicles on return to depot and ensure products are placed in the correct bay/sorting area.
• Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment and vehicles.
