Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a BIM Manager to lead digital engineering across national projects, establishing BIM strategy, standards, and workflows while guiding model coordination and data quality throughout the project lifecycle.

With extensive BIM management experience, you will mentor teams, drive ISO 19650 practices, and optimise BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360 to deliver high-quality digital outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in BIM management or digital engineering leadership.
• Experience applying BIM standards, workflows and coordination in complex environments.
• Strong technical knowledge with a practical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to translate digital requirements into clear guidance for project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM and digital engineering processes across projects and the organisation.
• Develop and implement BIM strategy, standards, and workflows (execution plans, naming conventions, data management).
• Guide model coordination, clash detection, and monitor BIM deliverables and compliance.
• Support administration and optimisation of BIM platforms and interoperable design-construction data.
