Services include main contractor input on BIM and Building Services, single-source 3D modelling, shop drawings, and coordination management. Kinetic Build also manages construction-phase BIM, integrates operation and maintenance information into FM/AM platforms, and advises on end-user BIM requirements. The company works closely with clients to evaluate and create BIM Execution Plans and ensure models meet contractual and operational expectations.
The BIM Manager at Kinetic Build is a full-time, on-site role based in Auckland. This position oversees BIM processes across multiple projects, ensuring accurate model creation, coordination, and documentation in line with client and contractor requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary 3D models, leading BIM coordination meetings, reviewing and enforcing BIM standards, and supporting the authoring and implementation of BIM Execution Plans. The BIM Manager will collaborate with design teams, main contractors, and building services specialists to resolve clashes, optimize workflows, and integrate operation and maintenance data into FM/AM platforms. The role also involves training and mentoring team members on BIM best practices, maintaining quality control across deliverables, and providing technical advice throughout the building life cycle.
