Job summary

Suntory Oceania seeks a Beverage Technical & Development Manager to lead technical excellence in beverage manufacturing across Oceania. You will guide formulation, processing, quality, sensory, raw materials and governance while coaching Product Technologists and Raw Materials experts.

Based in Auckland or Swanbank, you will partner with R&D, Supply Chain, QA and manufacturing sites to drive OTIF delivery and innovative development across brands.

Qualifications

• Extensive beverage technical expertise across formulation and processing.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and risk management.
• Experience leading multi-site manufacturing teams.
• Proven stakeholder engagement across levels.
• Tertiary qualification in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Beverage Technical Standards including Analytical, Micro & Sensory.
• Support Supply Chain in resolving major non-compliances to Beverage Technical Standards and technical problem solving.
• Support NPD introduction to Supply Chain operations.
• Lead the sensory programme requirements including training across Supply Chain including R&D support.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites on improvement opportunities.
• Lead and support the execution of partnership projects through effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional communication, ensuring OTIF delivery across the SBFO Supply Chain network.
• Represent R&D in non-NPD projects for changes to existing products, including raw material and packaging changes, as well as manufacturing site changes.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Product Technologists and Raw Materials Expert
