Job summary

Funlab in Wellington is hiring Front of House staff and Bartenders to join Archie Brothers and Holey Moley venues. You will deliver energetic, high-quality guest service and help create unforgettable experiences for families and friends.

We offer an award-based hourly rate under the Amusement & Entertainment Award, development programs, and perks like free activities, discounted food and beverages, and mental health support.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport.
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights.
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Drive sales on every shift – upsell, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement.
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed.
• Take pride in your venue, ensuring it’s well-stocked and ready to impress.
• Own your space – be trained in all areas and adapt to behind the bar, reception, or functions.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and teammates safe.
• Go above and beyond, anticipating our guests’ needs.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Be trained in all areas and whether you’re behind the bar, at reception, or running a function, you bring your A game!
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests - teens, kids and adults
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!
