ExtraStaff is seeking experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Drivers for an immediate start on a nightshift, ongoing role with a leading Christchurch-based employer. You will transport aggregate across Canterbury, working nights in busy quarry and construction environments.

Applicants must hold a full Class 5 license, have proven truck & trailer experience, and be comfortable with Road Ranger gearboxes. Safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work independently are key.

Qualifikationen

• Full Class 5 License.
• Proven Truck & Trailer experience.
• Experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Ability to jackknife trailers confidently.
• Strong reversing skills, including maneuvering into tight spaces.
• Experience carting aggregate or bulk quarry materials preferred.

About the Role

ExtraStaff are seeking experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Drivers for an immediate start, ongoing role with a leading Christchurch-based employer. This is a nightshift position operating between quarries and customer sites, transporting aggregate and quarry materials across Canterbury. We\'re looking for confident, safety-focused drivers with strong truck and trailer experience who are comfortable operating in busy quarry and construction environments.

What We\'re Looking For

• Full Class 5 License
• Proven Truck & Trailer experience
• Experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes
• Ability to jackknife trailers confidently
• Strong reversing skills, including maneuvering into tight spaces
• Experience carting aggregate, quarry materials, or bulk products preferred
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures
• Commitment to workplace health and safety

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Physically fit and capable of working long shifts
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
• Previous heavy transport experience essential
• Ability to work ongoing nightshift hours
