Job summary

New World Feilding is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead our Bakery Team and ensure a full, appealing range of products daily. You will drive production, oversee scratch baking, and manage stock, safety, and costs in a busy retail bakery.

The role requires a qualified baker with strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment. Weekend shifts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee production list to ensure a full range of bakery products baked daily.
• Scratch bake, including baking, proving, finishing, and packing according to recipes.
• Meet or exceed sales and GP targets and manage wage costs.
• Oversee training and support of all team members.
• Order and maintain essential bakery supplies for display of goods.
• Ensure all food safety and health & safety standards are met.
• Foster positive, supportive relationships within the bakery team.
• Undertake all tasks required within the department.
